Frequently asked questions

What if my dog becomes ill during the stay?

In the unlikely event that your dog becomes sick or injured he / she will be treated by our local practice, which is only a 5 minute drive away. If you prefer us to use your own vet then every effort will be made to accommodate this.

Where will my dog be during the stay?

He or she will live as family in our home, this is why home boarding is only suitable for domestic house trained pets with a nice nature, as they will be with one or possibly two others and in a nice clean home environment.

Can I visit prior to booking my dog in?

Of course. In fact we don't take dogs in unless they have been for a familiarisation visit beforehand, this gives us the chance to assess their temperament, meet you, and ensure that they are suitable for home boarding, and to discuss their individual requirements with you.
