For new customers, fill in the web form or email. The first step is a phone call, followed by a registration appointment to discuss your dog's needs and show potential host families. After a trial holiday is passed, we take the booking for your main holiday.

Transport of your dog is included within the holiday package. We take all responsibility of transporting your dog between your home and the host. We find it reduces separation anxiety when the dog is taken by ourselves.

For new customers, for any upcoming holiday over 5 days, the dog must go through a 'trial' holiday to confirm they are suitable for boarding. A minimum of a 2-night trial is recommended, as it can take more than 1 night for a dog to become settled with their host family.

Daily boarding rate per dog is £35. Daily boarding rate for 2 dogs is £55. Collection and delivery is £45. One off initial registration meeting is £40. Trial Stay (includes 2 night boarding, collection & delivery) is £90.

The minimum stay is for one night, which will be charged as two days.

We provide a full, local, professional service, which includes transport, insurance and a proven, personally executed checking and vetting process. Dogs feel really at home with our carefully chosen hosts, receiving one to one attention and living as part of the family.

Barking Mad accepts a variety of payment options. We prefer BACS bank transfer, but branches do accept cash, cheque, credit/debit cards. Once booked in, you will receive an invoice with instructions for payment.
