Frequently asked questions
Why must I sign to have my dog walked off lead?
This is a requirement of our insurance. Even when granted, please be assured that we only exercise off lead when we have established a bond with your dog.
Why do I have to provide my Vets details?
If you dog falls ill whilst you are away we will use this information to ensure your pet gets the approriate care. We will of course attempt to contact you first in such circumstance, but you pets health will come first. You will be required to pay for any treatment should it be necessary.
Why do I have to complete a Questionnaire?
All of our clients must complete the Questionnaire provided as it provides us with vital information about your dog's likes, dislikes and dietary requirements. It also provides details of your dogs vet in case of emergency.
If I return home early can I get a refund?
No. Fees have to be paid in advance and are non refundable should you shorten your holiday for any reason.
What happens if I cancel my booking?
Cancellation of any booking will result in the loss of deposit paid.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. All bookings require a £21 deposit per week.
Do you board dogs under 1 year old?
No. Under Government & Council guidlines our licence does not permit HappyPooch to board dogs under 1 year.
Do you provide doggy day care?
No. We only provide home boarding for duration of 2 or more days.
